 General Characteristics:

  • Height: In its natural environment, it can reach 25 to 45 meters.

  • Leaves: Small, scale-like, and dark green in color.

  • Trunk: The bark peels off in long strips, giving the tree a distinctive appearance.

  • Cones: Initially purplish, they mature into brown and are about 1.5–2 cm in diameter.

  • Growth rate: Grows at a moderate pace and forms a symmetrical, conical crown.
